Home Pour-Over Coffee Starter Set

Start from a stable, repeatable daily cup — not from the most complex or expensive gadgets.

Home pour-over coffee gear set

This starter set follows three principles: easy to learn, easy to repeat, easy to clean. It’s about a dependable two- to three-year setup, not chasing every upgrade at once.

01 Dripper

The V60 shines because recipes and parameters are plentiful. A clear resin or ceramic dripper is fine — no need to pay extra for limited colours.

02 Kettle

For beginners, stable flow and a comfortable grip matter most. If budget allows, consider a temperature-controlled kettle like the Fellow Stagg EKG; on a tight budget, a small gooseneck pour-over kettle is enough to start.

03 Grinder & Scale

Among all gear, put more budget into the grinder: consistent particle size greatly improves forgiveness. A scale only needs 1 g precision and a timer.

Buying tip: we don’t link stores here. Choose reputable local retailers (online or offline) and check after-sales and spare-part availability.
